Torre del Mar, just thirty minutes drive from Malaga airport, is situated on the Eastern Costa del Sol, between Malaga and Nerja. It is a very Spanish town with and international atmosphere. Its tree lined streets boast plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants and there is a weekly street market every Thursday morning. It has a wonderful 3-kilometre promenade dotted with little bars, restaurants (many of which specialise in seefood), and nightspots.

There are lots of fun activities on the beach for children as well as pedal car or tandem hire and mini-golf. A modern shopping mall with a multiplex cinema, “El Ingenio”; a waterpark “Aquavelis” (summer only) and a Go Karting track are all close by on the outskirts of the town. For golfers the 18-hole Baviera Golf is just a five minute drive away. Caleta harbour is equally close, where pleasure boat trips are available in July and August.Torre del Mar is an ideal base for visiting Andalucia. Malaga with its culture, beaches and great shopping facilities is approximately thirty minutes drive or there are buses running to Malaga city centre every fifteen minutes. 

 

Granada and the Alhambra Palace are just over an hour and a half away by car, with the Sierra Nevada ski resorts just a short drive from Granada city centre. Seville can be reached in under two hours.
